Listen to the story How Raven Stole the Sun. This is a story told by the Tlingit people of Pacific Northwest North America to explain how the sun, moon, and stars came to be.
We'll talk about how the Tlingit use oral traditions of storytelling to teach their culture and pass along their knowledge of the past, including their understanding of the world around them.
Special Guest: Shannen Mitchell from the National Museum of the American Indian
