Join us as author Melissa Trempe reads her book Ladybug Launch: Inspired by a True Story of Chinitas in Space. Discover how Natalia and class of girls from Chile convinced NASA to send ladybugs for a science experiment on a Space Shuttle. We will learn more about these helpful insects and many other different animals that have flown in space and why they were chosen for their missions. After the story we will learn how to make a bug observation station where we can carefully observe beneficial insects in our backyard.
