Kickstarter Backers Receive Behind the Scenes Look at Neil Armstrong's Apollo 11 Spacesuit

Cathleen Lewis, curator of international space programs and spacesuits, provides a behind the scenes look at Neil Armstrong’s Apollo 11 spacesuit for Kickstarter backers and their guests (from left to right) Nate Lowentheil, Pierre Laromiguiere, Alexander Norman, and Derek Kaufman. The Museum raised more than $719,000 for the conservation, digitization, and display of the Armstrong and Alan Shepard suits through Kickstarter.
