Transforming the Museum in Washington, DC

The National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC is undergoing a monumental multi-year renovation. Transforming every visitor's experience, the museum will use creative and dynamic techniques to engage visitors while they are at the museum and after they leave. All 20 exhibitions will be completely reimagined.

About the Transformation

Bezos Learning Center

The Smithsonian received a $200 million donation from Jeff Bezos, founder and executive chair of Amazon, and founder of aerospace and space flight company Blue Origin. A $70 million portion of the donation will support the renovation of the National Air and Space Museum and $130 million will launch a new education center at the museum.
