Views of Fokker D.VII "U.10" [Fokker D.VII, A1920000400] on the ground, probably at a forward American airfield being used by the 95th Aero Squadron, near Verdun, France, not long after its German pilot, Lieutenant Heinz Freiherr von Beaulieu-Marconnay, landed his aircraft there on November 9, 1918. Note that the squadron's "Kicking Mule" unit insignia has been added to the fuselage below the cockpit.
