Cylindrical combustion chamber cut into two separate sections. (Cut into two for examination of flame damage after the flight of the rocket.) Dome-like upper half, with square nut, steel, brown, with beveled edges, attached to top of upper half, center, for probably for receiving attachment to parachute box; small hole, slight off center, drilled through nut but not penetrating all the way through to inside of dome (chamber). Bottom half, with two (though originally four) conical exhaust nozzles protruding from the bottom of chamber outwardly at slight angles (20 degrees) from the vertical. (One nozzle lost during the flight and another removed for post-flight examination and lost.) Two brass-colored propellant feed lines (hollow tubes), of equal length, but one bent and slight curved (probably damaged upon crash of rocket on landing), jutting out from bottom half (bottom component) of motor.
