Heading for the Gulf, Oct. '64. The barge named "Promise" is in the center of the river and the end of another boat is shown in the foreground on the left. Sky and water divide the picture almost in half. A pale green strip of land is along the horizon and a red cone is projecting out of the water on the right. No humans are visible and the only movement is as the boat heads toward the barge.
