Pencil and Conté Crayon drawing on paper. Mission Control, Apollo XI (VI), 1969. Multiple rows of men, both seated and standing, are viewed from the back of the Mission Control room during Apollo 11. The people are generally all directing their attention toward the screen in the front of the room. The wider horizontal screen on the left has a map and some writing on it. Above it is a sign that says "QUIET PLEASE." To the right are two square screens, and above those appears to be a television monitor and a camera suspended from the ceiling. The figure of a mustachioed man with glasses stands out on the right. The majority of the scene is sketched loosely, causing some figures to look transparent as they overlap each other. Writing in the bottom center of the scene reads "right down U.W. 1, #1 on the runway."
