Recovery Remembered, 27 April 1972. A page from a spiral-bound sketchbook. An artistic blend of red, yellow, blue, and green outlines the form of a helicopter in the center of the piece and the command module of Apollo 16 in the lower right corner. A small red rectangle is the flotation device being dropped by the helicopter to recover the astronauts in the command module. The helicopter is identified by the word "NAVY" on the tail, and the text in the lower right corner reads: "Flotation raft is dropped prior to astronauts emerging from "Orion".
