Drawing, Felt Tip Pen on Paper, COOPER LEAVING HANGAR
Felt tip pen drawing on paper. Cooper Leaving Hangar, 5/15/63. Astronaut Gordon Cooper is wearing his spacesuit and helmet as he comes down a walkway inside a hangar. A group of loosely sketched people are gathered on the right to watch him. The perspective conveys the sense large open space inside the hangar. The legible part of a sign on the right side reads: "DANGER Flashing light indicates explosives installed."
