Checking Fins, November 14, 1973. The first stage of the Skylab IV rocket is in the center of the scene, flanked by tall steel structures of the Vehicle Assembly Building that seem to extend like wings. The drawing is visually distorted and full of detail and dark wash to define the white areas. The forms of two people are identifiable at the base and a small vehicle is in the lower right. Writing in the lower center reads: "checking fins for the backup missile." Writing in the lower left reads: "V.A.B. Kennedy Space Center."
