Drawing, Pen and Ink, Wash on Paper, ASTRONAUT ESCAPE VEHICLE
Astronaut Escape Vehicle, November 14, 1973. A tank with the number "3" on it looks like a strange insect as it crawls up a hill. The launch pad tower rises in the distance to the right of the tank. The entire scene looks like very busy with all of the lines and detail on the tank and adding texture to the land. Writing pointing to the top of the launch tower says "astronaut escape gondola" and "cable." The word "bunker" is written above the top of the tank. In the bottom center is written "astronaut escape vehicle M-113 APC."
