The front of the medal features a stamped image of the Apollo 12 astronauts without their helmets. Below the images of the astronauts their names have been stamped into the aluminum. From left to right they read "Conrad, Gordon, Bean" They are partially covering up an image of the LEM that is in the background. The back of the medal shows a clipper ship flying by the moon. A border around the image has the text "APOLLO XII" stamped at the top of the medal.
