United States Army Air Service (USAAS) "Indian Head" aircraft insignia of the 103rd Aero Squadron; painted in multiple colors over olive-green and tan camouflage fabric. The fabric measures 69 threads to the inch. The "Indian Head" faces to the right, indicating the fabric was removed from the starboard side of the aircraft's fuselage.
