Glass tube, open ended on top; discolored on inside, brownish, tapering down to narrow neck then reformed on other side with tube of same diameter, but clear and showing inside two pairs of wires, possibly copper, each with two parallel strands running down each side of a wooden dowel, possibly bamboo; wire strands tied to dowel with string loops; wire strands continue along each side of a rectangular strip of a reddish material, possibly thin cardboard; the pairs of wires next imbedded in a cork stopper; the end of the tube with reddish-brown hardened sealing wax with the four individual wire strands protruding out at the end of the wax ending to about two inches; another glass tube of smaller diameter adjoined at a 45 degree angle downward from the lower half of bottom of the tube from the end of the wood dowel; shiny silver metal ring, possibly aluminum, inside bottom of top tube.
