This object consists of two related components: the bottom half, the larger of the two pieces, and the top half (i.e. the original single object was cut into two, for better interior examination of, and exhibit of the whole.) (1) The bottom half, or main part of this set, is irregular-shaped, with hexagonal nut on base; with built-in venturi nozzle in cylinder; cup-like section on top (i.e. this is the lower half of the combustion chamber of the motor); cut cleanly off the top; two opposing, short, L-shaped propellant inlets projecting from each side on top half of this component. (2) Top half of motor, dome-shaped, with hexagonal nut on top, and hollow, cup-like interior at bottom; cleanly cut off at bottom so that it can easily fit on to bottom half of overall motor.
