Cylindrical with ogival nose and threaded tail piece with three exhaust holes around the peripheries of which are curved vanes for producing rotation in flight. Rivets around the rocket head and grooves along the side of the rocket. The grooves were meant to help hold in the powder so that it would not slip or shift during the rocket's flight. Two 0.25 in. diameter holes drilled along bottom side, 1.5 in. up and 4 in. art; these holes for earlier exhibit mounting fixtures. Overall, painted reddish brown, probably signifying that this is a practice round. Black lettering. [See Mark(s)]
