    Cylindrical, brown spiral wound with filament, horizontally; tapering on bottom and fitted with a nozzle; nozzle, non-ferrous metal, gray, with vertical seams; cylinder with dome on top, with silver colored, probably aluminum, attachment ring, on top of dome, for attachment to top wall of rocket; attachment ring with igniter screwed in top center of dome, within recess formed by the attachment ring; silver colored, probably aluminum, attachment ring also around lower portion of the cylinder, before it tapers to nozzle; this ring with equidistant flush Philips head screws; silver gray ring attached around top of nozzle, with equidistant short slotted cylinders In middle of igniter, in black: "PTH-8-4P" Black rectangle on cylinder middle: "Hercules Chemical Propulsion Division - Spiralalloy BE-3-B1 - Manufactured at Bachus, Utah - Dwng Number 83146B00014 - Serial No. 11PC00007" Red sticker, square, on side of cylinder, with white lettering: "Hercules BE-3" Nozzle, black inside, with numbers in black on flat gray plate at bottom of chamber seen through nozzle: "90000 117 - A4P10A00034" Fiber wound motor with plastic nozzle.
