Injector Head, Liquid Fuel, Apollo Service Propulsion System (SPS)
Disc, obverse, injector face plate proper with many tiny injector holes drilled around orbits or circles; outermost ring, with larger, equidistant holes, for attaching plate to combustion chamber of rocket engine, outermost rings with white and yellow caked on residue; this residue needs to be removed and the whole cleaned; top of disc, concave or partial dome, containing the plumbing for the injector head; this side consists of two upright thick pipes, one on each side, and a crosswise aluminum beam with carrying handle welded on flat top of beam; inlet propellant pipes, curved, from cylindrical attachment on top side of beam, making lasso shape on top of concave; another pipe, coming from thick pipe, curved around one third distance of concave top and terminating with end of pipe leading into concave dome on other side; straight propellant pipe from upright thick pipe and bending and curving into side of dome top. This side also contains relief or other valves.
