Three adjoining spheres with cylindrical thrust chamber and exhaust nozzle at one end. Piping and electrical wires and valves, with some pipes curved, runing along length of three spheres. Cylinders painted glossy black; rocket thrust chamber and nozzle, shiny silver; first sphere, at opposite end of thrust chamber, painted half black, half white. Top sphere, hand-painted yellow and brown horizontal stripes on both sides, probably for identification purposes upon recovery of JATO. Middle sphere, hand painted horizontal dark brown and lighter brown stripes on both sides, also for identication purposes during JATO recovery.
