Rocket Engine, Liquid Fuel, YLR-45-AJ-1, JATO (Jet-Assisted-Take-Off) Unit
Cylindrical combustion chamber, with rings around the bottom and top, including 3 elevated, smooth and contoured larger diameter rings around bottom, slightly up from bottom rim. Central rod projecting from top middle of chamber. Thick tube encircling and welded to top of chamber with tube of same diameter projecting vertically and bending at right angle towards large rectangular metal box to which it is attached. This large rectangular box on top joined to top of chamber by two separate pipes, one marked fuel out and other marked oxidizer outlet. Smaller rectangular metal box adjacent to larger one. Four equidistant mounting brackets around motor, with open holes for bolts. Overall, dull gray metal, some scratches.
