    This was an experimental protective flying helmet built by the donor; the rubber earphones and boom microphone were removed from a Type AN-H-15 Summer cotton flying helmet and attached to a white fiber glass miner's helmet; black stencil "CAVALLO" across front of helmet with five yellow stars; gray rubber framed Polaroid goggles with a one piece green plastic polarized lens; gray elastic adjustable strap on goggles; attached to the headphones is a United States Army Air Forces and Navy Type A-13 Pressure breathing or demand type Oxygen Mask; green rubber face mask with green rubber oxygen hose; internal microphone with black rubber cord; green cotton straps with button snaps and clips; embossed text "PROPERTY AIR FORCES U.S. Army , MASK OXYGEN, TYPE A-13A
