Night launching, April 7, 1966. Multiple-leaf accordion book with drawings on both sides of pages. Pattern of red and gold circles on cover. Labeled scenes of a launch at night. Most drawings executed with felt tip pen, ink, and ink wash, with possible charcoal or pastels. Scenes given a visual unity by the continuance of the smoky, textural atmosphere and the horizon line. There are three differently colored ink drawings on the back of the first few images of the book.
