Top of the Stack, 1968. At the center of the piece is a conical-shaped lunar module being lowered onto a platform inside the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). The massive size of the VAB is suggested by the tiny people on the platform and in the three-storied opening on the left. Vertical scaffolding fills the right third of the piece and the background is also detailed with straight lines suggesting scaffolding. The primary colors in the piece are light blue, green, red and grey.
