Rocket Motor, Liquid Propellant, Minuteman Missile Post-Boost Propulsion System
Cylinder, white, with plastic or cork-like covering; painted semi-glossy chrome green to top; one large opening, square except for side around inner circumference of cylinder wall, making this side rounded, exposing two silver tanks below, with several aluminum pipes and braided steel cables connecting the two tanks and also leading to other components at the bottom of the cylinder; chrome green top also has several other holes and three oval-shaped openings, all these openings also revealing extensive propulsion hardware underneath, at bottom of cylinder; on one side of chrome green top, opposite partly square and partly rounded hole, a recessed round gray metal, non-ferrous, fitting, with shinier dome in center, with black and white manufacturer's label "Gas Storage Assembly"; set of four, in-line equidistant, upright plug-like cylinders affixed and projecting along one side of recessed fixture and dome, these cylinders each four inches high; plugs with red, upright plate attached, with wording in white on plate, "Caution - This Plate Must Be Removed Prior To Installation of the MGS to the PSRE"; white stickers on each plug.
