Missile, Surface-to-Surface, Liquid Fuel, Redstone, with Portable Launch Stand
Cylindrical body with slight tapering towards conical nose with four fixed cruciform clipped delta fins at the rocket's base; four moveable rectangular air vanes at equi-distant points around the rocket's forward section, below the nose cap and warhead; rectangular tabs attached to the lower outside tips of each fin; four jet vanes in the exhaust path of the rocket and moved on pivots and linked to the missile's guidance and control system; overall, white, with alternating black and white fins; black horizontal stripes around middle, above the upper air vanes and a third strip around the nose cone base; diagonal black stripes between the lower and middle horizontal stripes; the letters "RS" painted in black in at least two aces between the diagonal stripes. Comes with engine, but covered with chicken wire to prevent entry of small rodents or other animals.
