Cardboard tube with blue paper wrapping; paper twisted over exhaust hole at end; tan pasteboard head and conical nosecone with red stripe under cone with name "Hadfield"; three, reversible, metal (sheet steel), long triangular fins fitted into crudely hand-cut sheet iron clamp around body; each fin, approximately 1 1/4 inches width by 3 1/8 inches length. Comes with patent drawing and U.S. Patent No. 51,176 of 28 Nov. 1865; one loose fin.
