Cylindrical, tapering down at one end to larger diameter, bulbous head; lug or clip mounted on side of rocket; eight folding fins at rear of rocket and built-in nozzle at base; front, with nose fuze that can easily be screwed off; overall, olive drab; with nose fuse; some surface rust on fins. The number 717 hand painted in white and black along several places, this number painted as an I.D. by the previous owner and donor of the object, the U.S. Army Ordnance Museum. Requires cleaning and repainting if it is to go on exhibit.
