    Space Shuttle commander/pilot seat; grey metal frame and harness assembly with mounting rails. Cushion on headrest, padded blue fabric with white stitched grid pattern, snapped onto frame; release/adjust lever for headrest. Five-point restraint harness (shoulders, lap, crotch belts) of black woven fabric. Blue vinyl seat pad (?); white velcro squares on backrest frame to anchor mission cushion. Blue velcro squares on back of frame for attaching checklists, etc. Manually adjustable forward/aft slot with positions 0-5. Pull-to-release handle with lock/unlock positions to fold backrest. Inertia reel lever with lock/unlock positions for shoulder harness located on left side of seat. Power forward/aft/up/down seat adjustment unit removed.
