The bottom left corner of the image has white lettering "CAPT. CHAS. A. LINDBERGH NON-STOP FLIGHT, NEW YORK-PARIS NEW YORK, MAY 20, 1927-6:52 A.M. PARIS, MAY 21, 1927-4:20 P.M." The front of the box has a latch with a keyhole and a button to disengage the latch. The inside of the box is made of unstained wood. The inside of the lid is a mirror. The bottom of the box is a printed wood veneer. The edges of the box are made of metal that has been painted gold.
