Quilted wall hanging of the Spirit of St. Louis. The representation of the plane is a white fabric with a very faint white pattern and the background is a patterned blue. The border and the backing are white. The quilting lines begin almost at a point at the margin near the base of the airplane and fan out from there. A double-layered strip of white fabric is sewn into the top of the back of the quilt to facilitate hanging the item on a wall.
