Large orbiter name flag designed with three slightly angled horizontal stripes across the flag, in colors from top to bottom, blue, white (largest), and red. In upper left corner of white stripe "Space Flight Awareness NASA" appears in red with a red ring and Earth logo. "DISCOVERY" in blue occupies the center of the white stripe, with a blue silhouette of a shuttle orbiter in the "O." There are two metal grommets on the left margin of the flag. The right side of the flag is slightly gathered and the corners are slightly frayed.
