Print, Etching on Paper, Colored, FEU D'ARTIFICE, TIRÉ LE 14 JUILLET 1801 AN 9 DE LA REPUBLIQUE: À LA GRILLE DE CHAILLOT A L'OCCASION DE LA PAIX.
Hand-colored etching of fireworks being set off at the customs gate of Chaillot on July 14, 1801. The fireworks are coming from behind a statue sitting on rocks, with a large crowd of observers in the foreground. A balloon is aloft in the upper right corner. Smaller fireworks also appear to be coming from the balloon.
