    Oil painting of one of James Sadler's ascents from the Mermaid Tavern, Hackney in 1811. On August 13 he ascended with Lt. Paget. On August 29 he made a second flight with Mr. Beaufoy. Image shows the balloon aloft with a crowd watching from below.
