Newspaper from 1874. French version of "Punch." Front page has engraving of a parody of a balloon scene with a man's head as the balloon. The balloon/his forehead is labeled 'La Belle Bourbonnaise,' and there are musical notes coming out of the bottom of the balloon. Two men are in the gondola of the balloon, which is shaped like a tri-corner hat. The scene is hand-colored with pink, green, and nude-colored ink. The engraving is signed by G. La Fosse. The information about the newspaper and scene is at the top of the page. Three more pages to the newspaper, with text and images. Page 3 has the sheet music for 'La Belle Bourbonnaise (Deuxième Acte).'
