    Several technicians are loosely sketched as they encircle the Mercury Atlas 9 capsule, also called Faith 7, in the center of the piece. The technician in the center looks the largest in perspective and a technician on the right appears to be crouching on the side of the capsule. The capsule is heavily blackened with vertical and horizontal strokes and other details fill in the top section of the background.
