No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 from a series of collecting cards about ballooning. Each has a printed image on the front, with description of the event in French on the reverse. 'Collection 476. Romanet & Cie. Imp. Edit. Paris.'
No. 3: Images relate to Charles and Robert launching the first balloon in Paris. The scene on the bottom shows the balloon on a cart. The scene in center shows the successful ascension. The top scene shows the balloon being attacked by villagers after it landed in Gonesse. A portrait of Charles is in the bottom right corner.
No. 4: Image shows the first voyage completed by Pilâtre de Rozier and the Marquis d'Arlandes. The balloon is aloft over a city and river with people waving to them from below. A portrait of de Rozier is in the bottom left corner.
No. 5: Image shows the first ascension of Charles and Robert from the Tuileries Gardens. Balloon is aloft with a cheering crowd below.
