The Crew of Apollo 17 over the Pacific, 21 December 1972. Three astronauts in their suits are seated with a table running at a diagonal between them. Two are seated on the right and one is on the left. Their bodies are unfinished and there is a fair amount of smudging of the pencil medium, especially around the heads. Two unfinished heads are drawn in the upper left and upper right. The one in the upper left is labeled "Cernan". Handwriting in blue ink in the lower right reads: "The crew of Apollo 17 over the Pacific 23:00 Houston Time 21 Dec 72 / Relaxing - Speculating - Signing Photos / Evans - Cernan - Schmitt".
