Watercolor and felt tip pen painting on paper. Practice Aboard the Champ. The boilerplate of the Gemini Titan 5 is lying on its side on a trailer in the center of this scene aboard the USS Lake Champlain recovery ship. Two figures are standing on the trailer working while several others stand nearby or closer in the foreground. Beyond the ship are the blue ocean and four helicopters in the sky. The entire scene is framed on the side and across the top by dark pillars and beams. The majority of the scene, including the people, is uncolored. There are blue accents on the boilerplate and the sky is partially blue. Writing in the lower left reads: "Practice aboard the Champ with a boilerplate spacecraft G-T-5."
