Live Action From the Moon, Jan 5 1971. A montage of various scenes merge together to fill the entire page. The scene in the top right quadrant is the most detailed and depicts the rows of consoles and men at the Mission Control Center. The rest of the page is filled with more loosely drawn scenes of astronauts on the moon, as seen on television. Strong vertical strokes are used throughout the scenes to give visual unity to the overall piece. Writing in the lower left reads: "Apollo 14 Jan 5 1971." Writing in the lower right reads: "Drawn from TV Screen Showing Live Action From the Moon."
Note: the dates written on the artwork by the artist are transcribed here literally as Jan 5 1971. However, the correct date for the Apollo 14 lunar mission would have been Feb 5 1971.
