The Old Master, 6-7 December 1972. Two converging images comprise this piece. The larger scene concentrated on the left is one of chief NASA photographer Taylor Moarman holding a camera on his right shoulder and stepping out of a helicopter. He is wearing a jumpsuit with some straps running across his torso. The smaller image on the right is of a tiny command module suspended from three red and white striped parachutes as it heads for a splashdown. The image on the left looks warm and grainy while the one on the right is a cool watery scene. Beneath the parachutes on the right is a quote from Taylor Moarman and his signature. The quote reads: "What have I ever done to deserve a seat with such magnificent view of history-". Writing in the lower left reads: "Apollo 17 USS Ticonderoga."
