Cargo of the Promise, 1964. Sketch of a scene inside the hangar of the barge "Promise," which was carrying cargo going to Cape Kennedy from the Marshall Space Flight Center. The cargo is secured to the deck with ropes, and the first stage of the rocket is entirely covered by a shroud. A bowl-shaped structure is in the center and a truck carrying the fins is in the foreground. Some cans and a coiled rope are in the lower left corner.
