Stainless steel plotter marked "TEC." and "Made in Germany". Used by Commander A. C. Read on flight of NC-4 across Atlantic in May 1919. Presented by Commander Read to Charles J. Boyd, who was an aircraft mechanic who worked on the NC-4.
Remomoved for Pioneers of Flight :chamois bag, with inscription & "Property of C.J. Boyd, Municipal Airport, Amarillo, Tex. & Santa Fe, N.M. Rt. 2, Box 336." Now cataloged as: A19750637001, not desired for exhibit.
