Gray rectangular frame made of wood and iron supporting a metal 60-inch diameter turntable which is driven by a series of pulleys. Overhead arms to hold grinding and polishing tools have to be put into place. Rectangular wood and iron gray frame painted, in parts, light blue. The frame supports the mirror grinding machinery that consists of various brass and iron pulleys, spindles and gears. The grinding table proper is provided with trunions that allow it to be tilted to a vertical position for interim inspections of the work in progress.
