White beta cloth spacesuit worn by John Young, Commander of the Apollo 16 mission which landed two men on the moon in April, 1972. It is the EV configuration, A7-LB spacesuit with a diagonal zipper over the torso, red "commander" stripes on the upper arms and upper legs. Two red and four blue hose connector fittings on the torso. NASA "meatball" logo, Apollo 16 mission symbol and name tag on upper chest, US flag on left shoulder.
