Michael Knigin Physical Description
In 1988 Michael Knigin was invited by NASA to participate on a team with five other artists to record and capture the spirit of the Shuttle’s first return to space after the Challenger accident. Later in 1991 he was recalled back to NASA to create images of the Space Shuttle Atlantis’ touch down at Edwards AFB.
