Physical Description
Uncolored etching of a crowd gathered in a town to watch the release of a balloon. The balloon has a basket tied to the bottom that contains a live sheep, rooster, and duck. Part of a pair with A20140402000. The balloon, a Montgolfier hot air vessel, is shown as a sealed gas balloon, and indication of the way in which an English engraver, who had never seen a balloon, imagined the scene.
