This device is part of the avionics for the Space Shuttle orbiter. It was used to control the thrust vector of the Shuttle's main engines during ascent to orbit. It is probably flown hardware. If so, actualy flight history is unkown. The device was transfered from NASA in 2014.
This object is not on display at the National Air and Space Museum. It is either on loan or in storage.
