Flight Attendant
Piedmont Airlines, 1989
Established in North Carolina in 1948, Piedmont was a popular Southern and Mid-Atlantic regional airline noted for its excellent service and “southern hospitality.” It merged with USAir in 1989. This was the last style of uniform worn by Piedmont flight attendants.

Rectangular piece of burgundy or wine-colored silk, edges folded in and stitched for 13" in the center, created a shaped piece. Content and origin tags near center, along seam. Machine stitched.
