This is the original box art for the motors to be included in the world's first mass-marketed flying model rocket kit, created ca. late Winter-early Spring 1957-1958. The artist was under contract to the firm of Model Missiles, Inc., Denver, Colorado, who produced the kit. The model was based on the U.S. Navy's Aerobee-Hi sounding rocket.
G. Harry Stine, an American pioneer in the field of flying rocket models, donated this artifact to the museum.
